Master Chief

this picture was also done for a friend who you can guess is a big halo fan. being a big fan myself i really enjoyed doing it and is the my first real go at taking an idea from halo and setting it in my own way.

i chose to show the first encounter between MC and the gravemind, it was a turning point in the story and i felt it made for what could be a good picture.

i started in photoshop just doing very rough sketches of random ideas which i kept refining. i then got line work to to point which i was happy with and started to add colour in, however as i begin to introduce the colour i felt it was loosing the drama i had originally felt so i begin to fade out the line work completely. lm really pleased how it turned out and feel abit more confident with my skills in photoshop.
